moss covered globe

We're both crazy about globes and, between the two of us, we own quite a few.  Because of this, we didn't mind sacrificing one to the gods of DIY trail and error.  Turns out, this is a very simple project where you get a lot of bang for your buck!

All you'll need besides the globe is hot glue and dried moss, which you can find at most craft stores.  First, outline a continent using a hot glue gun.  Pull off some moss and start pressing into the hot glue.  Fill in the rest of the continent, a little at a time with the glue, and press the moss into place.  That's it!  

Really, it's cool looking and super easy, so why wouldn't you make one?
